Responsibilities:
As the Chemical Plant Engineer for Facilities & Utilities, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client's operations in the pharmaceutical industry. Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary technical expert for designated installations, including HVAC systems, water systems (WFI), cooling systems, chillers, process gases, and building utility systems.
- Actively participating in investigations, deviations, and CAPAs related to quality and EHS compliance, ensuring adherence to cGMP, GEP, SUVA/ASIT standards.
- Leading or supporting the design and qualification of equipment/plant improvements, changes, or upgrades.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and approving the implementation of supplier interventions for Facilities & Utilities equipment.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of a GMP environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, automation/technical engineering, biotechnology, or related fields such as chemistry or physics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or energy industries.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in project management.
Language and IT Skills:
- Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written), with knowledge of German considered a plus.
- Experience in PLC/Automation programming (Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Allen Bradley) would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, Project, and OneNote.
